Total Solar Eclipse

The United States will see a rare occurrence on August 21, 2017 – a total solar eclipse.  Although we're just outside the 'path of totality', St. Augustine residents and visitors will be able to see about 90% of sun being covered by the moon’s shadow. St. Johns County, in partnership with NASA@MyLibrary, is hosting a free solar eclipse viewing event.  Everyone is invited to bring lawn chairs and view the solar eclipse, the first coast-to-coast eclipse in over 100 years.
