St. Augustine Music News, March 5-11, 2010
March 5th, 2010Greetings Music Lovers!
Hope you’re all having a great week! I don’t know about you guys, but I am about tired of winter temperatures, and am hoping things will warm up soon. I have to send out big thanks to everyone who participated in last weekend’s St. Aug Fest at Francis Field, where it was cold and damp and downright yucky. The musicians, and all the volunteers and workers, hung in there like troopers in spite of the unkind weather, and their efforts and perseverance are greatly appreciated.
Worthy of repeating from last week – Local guitarist and songwriter VINCE JEFFS has been fighting a long and difficult battle with cancer, and he needs our help. He has already been through numerous treatments and procedures, with no health insurance, and is still facing more. Please help if you can – visit  www.helpvince.org to read more about Vince and to make a contribution, in any amount you can, to help him through this very difficult time. The need is urgent.
